Cold Wave Grips Kashmir Valley With Sub-Zero Nights as Ladakh Endures Severe Chill

• Most stations in the Kashmir Valley recorded freezing or below-freezing minimums, with Shopian the lowest at -4.2°C, according to Daily Excelsior.
• Srinagar logged a low of -2.4°C and the airport belt fell to -3.2°C, while Kokernag hovered just above freezing at 0.1°C. Pahalgam, the previous night’s coldest at -4.3°C per PTI, rose to a minimum of -0.4°C.
• Ladakh remained under a severe cold wave, with Leh at -6.2°C, Kargil at -5.0°C and Nubra Valley at -3.7°C.
