Overview
- Showery, unsettled weather is moving across Hessen, Rheinland-Pfalz, the Saarland and the Frankfurt area, with brief thunderstorms possible and gusts up to about 60 km/h from the southwest.
- The DWD has active county alerts for light snow above roughly 1,500 meters in southern Bavaria from Nov. 2 at 12:00 to Nov. 3 at 07:00, expecting 5–10 cm and up to 20 cm in upslope areas.
- Affected Bavarian districts include Oberallgäu, Ostallgäu, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, Miesbach, Rosenheim (city and district), Traunstein and Berchtesgadener Land.
- Despite the fronts, early November temperatures remain mild for many lowlands at roughly 11–16 °C, with 20.4 °C reported in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on Saturday.
