- Mexico’s weather service says Front 6 will enter Baja California on Saturday, with impacts peaking into Sunday as Raymond skirts Baja California Sur and is forecast to dissipate over the Gulf of California on Monday.
- Expected in Baja California: Saturday showers of 25–50 mm, winds 20–30 km/h with 40–50 km/h gusts, waves 1.5–2.5 m, and dawn lows of 0–5 °C; Sunday rain of 50–75 mm, winds 40–50 km/h with 60–80 km/h gusts, waves up to 3 m, and mountain lows of -5 to 0 °C.
- SMN projects very strong to intense rain for southern Baja California Sur and central/eastern Sonora, strong to very strong rain in Chihuahua, Durango, Sinaloa, Nayarit, Veracruz, Oaxaca and Chiapas, and showers for several other states including Mexico City.
- Despite the front, parts of Baja California will still see daytime heat this weekend, with Mexicali near 36 °C on Friday and warm highs continuing in Tecate and Tijuana.
- For Friday, Mexico City is forecast mostly cloudy with scattered to strong showers and a high near 22 °C, while Cancún expects light rain with a high around 33 °C.
