Overview
- By early Tuesday, the front is crossing the Yucatán Peninsula, and SMN/Conagua expect it to enter the Caribbean by night, gradually reducing its direct influence on Mexico.
- Official forecasts call for torrential rainfall in Veracruz and Oaxaca with intense precipitation in parts of Puebla, Chiapas and Tabasco, raising risks of flooding, landslides and swelling rivers.
- An intense Norte persists with gusts of 90–110 km/h and 4–5 meter seas on coasts of Tamaulipas, Veracruz and the Isthmus/Gulf of Tehuantepec, with 50–70 km/h along Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo, restricting maritime activity.
