Overview
- SMN and Conagua report an arctic air mass keeping very cold conditions across the north, center and east, with lows near -15 to -10 °C in high terrain of Chihuahua and Durango and widespread frost.
- An intense Norte persists with 90–110 km/h gusts in the Isthmus and Gulf of Tehuantepec and 50–70 km/h along parts of Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo, producing hazardous seas.
- Very strong to torrential rain is forecast for Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas and Tabasco, bringing risks of landslides, river rises and flooding, according to official advisories.
