Cohere Opens Asia-Pacific Hub in Seoul to Deploy Korean-Language AI Models

Led by Andrew Chang, the Seoul hub is recruiting local teams, extending research grants to Korean universities for its LG CNS co-developed models, deploying them in South Korea’s diplomatic AI system.

  • Andrew Chang, formerly Korea country manager at Confluent and an executive at Google, Microsoft and IBM, has been appointed vice president of Asia Pacific to lead Cohere’s Seoul operations.
