Overview
- On Monday, Rhodes posted an Instagram Story that used the X‑Men ’97 theme after sharing a photo of a visit to Marvel Studios’ Burbank offices.
- The clip was shared widely by accounts such as That COMICBOOK Guy and picked up by entertainment sites, rapidly increasing fan conjecture.
- Neither Marvel Studios nor Rhodes have confirmed any casting and outlets note the post could reflect a fan moment, a voice role on the animated show, or a routine industry meeting.
- Marvel is developing an untitled live‑action X‑Men film set for May 5, 2028 with some cast already announced and production expected to begin later in 2026, which makes late‑2026 casting activity plausible.
- Rhodes’s prior acting work and the history of wrestlers joining comic franchises make the rumor feel credible to fans but commentators caution that studio visits and themed posts are weak evidence of actual casting.
