Overview
- Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector San Diego received a report of a suspicious 36-foot sailboat heading into Mission Bay around 11:15 a.m. Saturday.
 - A boarding team conducted a landside boarding shortly after the vessel docked in the Quivira Basin area.
 - Four people identified as Mexican nationals were found aboard, including three adults and a 17-year-old unaccompanied minor.
 - Two U.S. citizens on the boat told officials they owned the vessel, which was seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
 - No injuries were reported, names have not been released, and authorities have not said whether smuggling charges will be filed.
