Coast Guard Recovers Remains and Final Debris from Imploded Titan Submersible

The Titan submersible imploded in June 2023 while en route to explore the wreck of the Titanic, killing all 5 passengers on board.
Additional presumed human remains and final debris from the submersible were recovered by the Coast Guard in early October.
The recovered materials were transported to the US for analysis by medical professionals and investigations agencies.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted jointly with international partners and will include a public hearing.
OceanGate, the company that owned the Titan submersible, suspended operations after the fatal implosion.
