Overview
- Registration on the official COAP site, which opened Thursday, lets GATE-qualified candidates sign up to view and act on admission and PSU job offers.
- Round 1 runs May 11–13 for viewing and responding to offers, followed by main rounds through early June and additional rounds planned into July.
- Candidates choose Accept & Freeze, Retain & Wait, or Reject in Rounds 1–5, with Retain & Wait allowed only twice and removed in Round 5, and any offer with no response expires.
- Only Indian nationals with valid GATE scores from 2024, 2025, or 2026 may register, and they must still apply to each IIT or PSU separately for consideration.
- Later-round dates differ by publication, with one schedule listing Round 10 on July 8–10 and another spanning June 8 to July 10, so applicants should rely on the COAP portal for exact timing and follow the on-site registration steps.
