- About 42,499 candidates took the second-stage test nationwide on December 7, according to the Ministry of Management.

- For higher-level roles, candidates responded to two questions of up to 30 lines worth a total of 45 points split between specific knowledge and Portuguese; intermediate-level candidates wrote a 30-line essay worth 30 points graded solely on language use.
- Next steps include verification of self-declared quotas and disability from December 8–17, publication of discursive score mirrors and preliminary results on January 23, final discursive results on February 18, classification lists on February 20, and convocations starting March 16.
