CNN Launches All Access, a $6.99 Streaming Tier With Live News and Originals

The mobile-first rollout targets cord-cutters with direct subscriptions during a potential sale of Warner Bros. Discovery.

Overview

  • CNN All Access is now live in the U.S. inside CNN’s apps and sites at $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year, with a $41.99 first-year introductory offer available through early January.
  • The service streams most of CNN’s U.S. linear schedule from 5 a.m. to midnight ET, adds CNN International and headline and originals channels, and includes live field feeds and a large on-demand library.
  • All Access introduces exclusive programming such as Anderson Cooper’s All There Is Live, Harry Enten’s The Enten Scale, Donie O’Sullivan’s Devoted, and a daily 5 Things with Kate Bolduan.
  • Pay-TV customers can authenticate to stream All Access at no extra charge, while paid All Access subscribers also receive access to CNN’s Basic article tier from the 2024 paywall.
  • CNN’s live stream leaves HBO Max in the U.S. on November 17 as distribution shifts to All Access, which is available on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV and LG, with Samsung TV support not yet live.
