CNN Executive Ken Jautz to Depart After 36 Years

Ken Jautz has been a significant part of CNN's leadership, contributing to its international and domestic coverage since joining the network.
Jautz played a crucial role in CNN's live warzone coverage during the First Gulf War and major events like 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina.
He has held various leadership roles, including EVP of operations and co-interim CEO after Jeff Zucker's departure in 2022.
Jautz was instrumental in CNN's infrastructure moves and in maintaining network operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following Jautz's departure, CNN's operations and programming teams will report to David Leavy and Eric Sherling, respectively.
