Overview

  • Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath opened the two-day World Youth Skills Day fair at Indira Gandhi Pratisthan, showcasing the state’s flagship Yuva Kaushal Chaupal, Kaushal Mela and Skill Olympics events.
  • The exposition presented innovations from trainees across all 75 districts, with 11 selected youths honored on stage and handed appointment letters.
  • Participants displayed projects in AI, IoT, drone technology, robotics and 3D printing under the UP Skill Development Mission’s drive for tech-driven vocational training.
  • Under its digital empowerment mission, the state has distributed smartphones or tablets to 50 lakh of its 2 crore target and upgraded 150 government ITIs in partnership with Tata Technologies.
  • Through the CM Yuva Scheme, over 50,000 youths have received interest-free loans up to ₹5 lakh with an additional ₹7.5 lakh scale-up facility, while ODOP and Vishwakarma Yojana have trained and equipped over 1 lakh artisans.
