CM Stalin Inaugurates ‘Ungaludan Stalin’ Doorstep Camps as Phase I Gets Under Way

The program has deployed over 100,000 volunteers to bring 89 services directly to households with digital tracking and 45-day resolution targets.

Overview

  • On July 15, CM M.K. Stalin inaugurated the state-wide ‘Ungaludan Stalin’ program in Chidambaram, marking the start of Phase I camps in Thanjavur and Tiruchi districts.
  • Phase I features 120 camps in Thanjavur covering 313,646 households and 351 camps in Tiruchi covering 397,236 households from July 15 to August 14.
  • More than 100,000 trained volunteers are conducting door-to-door outreach Tuesday through Friday to inform residents and distribute application forms.
  • Urban camps offer 43 services from 13 departments while rural camps provide 46 services from 15 departments, including welfare scheme enrolment and official document updates.
  • A dedicated website will soon go live for camp schedules and petition tracking, and all applications received at camps must be resolved within 45 days.
