Overview
- Phased verification removed over 34 lakh ineligible records and added about 14 lakh eligible families, with 536.23 lakh people covered under NFSA and 93% completing e‑KYC.
- A new 29th priority category extends free rations to e‑Shram registrants, covering 25.18 lakh unorganised and migrant workers across 7.25 lakh families through eligibility slips.
- More than 5.25 crore beneficiaries received 66.37 lakh metric tonnes of free grain worth Rs 19,935 crore in two years under PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.
- Farmer payouts include Rs 29,558.40 crore MSP and Rs 1,965 crore bonus for wheat (rabi 2024–25, 2025–26) and Rs 19,208.76 crore MSP plus Rs 337.11 crore incentive for paddy (kharif 2023–24, 2024–25), with a record 9.64 lakh MT rice contributed to the Central Pool in 2024–25.
