Overview

• Officials reported at least five deaths and 11 missing after overnight cloudbursts and landslides across Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Tehri and Bageshwar.
• In Chamoli’s Mopata village, a house collapse killed a couple and injured two, while Bageshwar’s Pausari area recorded two dead and three missing.
• Rudraprayag authorities described extensive damage in Basukedaar and Jakholi, with people unaccounted for in Chenagad and as many as 30–40 families feared trapped in Taljaman.
