Overview
- At 2:00 a.m. local on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, clocks move back to 1:00 a.m. to end Daylight Saving Time.
 - The shift applies nationwide except in Hawaii, most of Arizona, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa and the Northern Mariana Islands.
 - Phones, computers and smartwatches typically update automatically, but analog clocks, many appliances and some car dashboards require manual changes.
 - Airlines and other transport providers adjust schedules for the switch, and experts note brief sleep and safety effects in the days following.
 - Thirty‑three Mexican border municipalities will also revert to standard time the same night to stay aligned with adjacent U.S. communities; DST resumes March 8, 2026.
