Overview
- HM Coastguard was alerted around 3:30pm on September 13 and dispatched a search-and-rescue helicopter.
- The casualty, described as a male, was winched from the cliff and flown to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor for treatment.
- Police, ambulance crews, Wales Air Ambulance, and coastguard rescue teams from Llandudno, Moelfre and Penmon responded after tasking by MRCC Holyhead.
- A Llandudno RNLI medic assessed the patient on scene before the helicopter transport; the man's condition was not disclosed.
- The Wales Air Ambulance landed on the promenade then returned to its Caernarfon base after the coastguard helicopter completed the transfer.
