Climate activists from the group 'Last Generation' spray-painted Christmas trees orange in seven German cities as a protest against climate change.
The cities targeted were Berlin, Oldenburg, Kiel, Leipzig, Rostock, Nuremberg, and Munich.
The group released a statement calling for peaceful action to prevent a world that is 3 degrees hotter, stating they can't rely on governments and corporations to take action.
This is not the first time 'Last Generation' has used such tactics, having previously glued themselves to paintings in museums and blocked roads.
No arrests have been made in response to the Christmas tree attacks.
