Cleveland Guardians' New Manager Stephen Vogt Finalizes Coaching Staff

Long-time coaches Sandy Alomar Jr. and Carl Willis retained, with several new appointments and promotions announced.

Stephen Vogt, the new manager of the Cleveland Guardians, has completed his coaching staff, retaining long-time coaches Sandy Alomar Jr. and Carl Willis.
Alomar, a six-time All-Star catcher with Cleveland, will coach first base and the catchers, while Willis will continue to develop the Guardians' pitching staff.
Chris Valaika is returning for his third season as Cleveland’s hitting coach, and Craig Albernaz has been appointed as the bench coach, replacing DeMarlo Hale.
Rouglas Odor has been promoted from Double-A Akron manager to Major League infield coach, and Brad Goldberg from Akron pitching coach to Major League bullpen coach.
Kai Correa, who spent the past four seasons as San Francisco’s bench coach, will be Cleveland’s field coordinator.
