Cleveland Browns Hire Duce Staley as New Running Backs Coach

Staley replaces recently fired Stump Mitchell, joining a reshaped staff under Coach Kevin Stefanski.

Duce Staley, a 10-year NFL veteran, has been hired as the new running backs coach for the Cleveland Browns, replacing the recently fired Stump Mitchell.
Staley was previously fired from the Carolina Panthers and also interviewed with the New York Jets for a similar position.
The Browns are also hiring former Alabama offensive coordinator and Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees, who will coach the tight ends and may have other duties.
Nick Chubb, former Pro Bowler and running back for the Browns, is expected to miss the start of next season due to knee surgeries, leaving Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong Jr. as the main running backs.
There's a possibility that the Browns could lose offensive line coach Bill Callahan, who may join his son Brian’s staff in Tennessee.
