Son of former NFL player, Trotter Jr. is projected as a second- or third-round pick and is a favorite for the Butkus Award.

Jeremiah Trotter Jr., Clemson linebacker and son of former NFL player Jeremiah Trotter, has declared for the 2024 NFL draft, forgoing his final college season.
Trotter Jr. led the Tigers this season with 87 tackles, 14 1/2 stops behind the line of scrimmage, and two interceptions.
He is projected as a second-day, second- or third-round selection in the upcoming draft.
Trotter Jr. is ranked as the No. 2 off-ball linebacker in Mel Kiper Jr.'s position rankings for the 2024 NFL draft.
He is also one of the favorites to win the Butkus Award for best linebacker.
