CLAT 2026 Tomorrow: Consortium Issues Final Exam-Day Rules, 2 PM Start

Officials issued final directions to ensure smooth, secure conduct at test centres.

Overview

  • Candidates should reach by 1:00 pm for staggered entry, with hall bell at 1:30 pm, question-paper envelopes at 1:50 pm and doors closing at 2:15 pm; PwD/SAP candidates using scribes must report 90 minutes early.
  • Carry a printed colour admit card and an original government photo ID, along with two blue or black ballpoint pens, a transparent water bottle and an extra passport-size photograph if needed; PwD candidates must bring scribe authorisation documents where applicable.
  • Expect biometric verification, photo capture and signature checks before seating, and open the sealed question-paper envelope only at the 2:00 pm bell; fill OMR details carefully and submit the OMR at the final bell.
  • Leave electronics, wallets, jewellery, books, notes, food and extra stationery at home, and follow the simple light-coloured dress code without metallic accessories, belts, ties, caps, mufflers or gloves.
  • The test will be held in offline mode with 120 multiple-choice questions for both UG and PG, covering their respective syllabi and scored at +1 for correct answers and −0.25 for incorrect responses; media notices state a two-hour window from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
