Clarisa Figueroa Sentenced to 50 Years for Murdering Pregnant Teen and Stealing Unborn Baby

The Chicago woman, Clarisa Figueroa, received a 50-year sentence for the 2019 murder of 19-year-old Marlen Ochoa-Lopez, from whom she forcibly removed an unborn child.

Clarisa Figueroa, 51, was sentenced to 50 years without parole for the murder of Marlen Ochoa-Lopez and for cutting the baby from her womb.
The crime was committed in 2019 when Figueroa lured Ochoa-Lopez to her home under the pretense of giving free baby clothes.
Figueroa attempted to pass off the stolen baby as her own, but was exposed after DNA tests showed she was not the mother.
The child, sadly, died two months later due to complications from the traumatic birth.
Desiree Figueroa, Clarisa's daughter, also involved in the crime, testified against her mother and received a 30-year sentence.
