- A Military Police team located his white car near the Marginal Pinheiros and access to the Castello Branco highway, detained him, and reported clear signs of intoxication after he refused a breathalyzer test.
- He was cited for driving under the influence based on observed impairment, his firearm was seized, and he was taken to the 91st Police District (Ceasa).
- Another PM team returned to the condominium, interviewed a witness, and collected a spent cartridge as evidence, with the Civil Police internal affairs unit notified to oversee the case.
