Citroën Reveals ELO Concept, a Compact Electric MPV With Camper-Style Flexibility

The idea-lab EV previews a modular direction using partner-developed materials, ahead of a Brussels debut in January.

Overview

  • Unveiled at 4.10 metres in length, the all-electric ELO fits up to six occupants and reconfigures into sleeping, cinema or office setups.
  • A flat-floor layout enables a central driver’s seat that swivels, while rear seats fold, slide and detach to serve as outdoor chairs.
  • Citroën collaborated with Decathlon for inflatable Dropstitch mattresses, an attachable awning, V2L power and a built-in air compressor.
  • Goodyear contributed concept Eagle Xplore tyres with SightLine monitoring and LED indicators that show pressure status at a glance.
  • Built as a concept with no production commitment, ELO is scheduled for its public debut at the Brussels Motor Show on 9 January.
