Citroën Finalizes Second-Gen C5 Aircross Launch With EV Specs and Spanish Pricing

Built on Stellantis's STLA Medium, the model leads Citroën's fall rollout across Europe and Argentina.

Overview

  • The ë‑C5 Aircross arrives with two full-electric options: 210 CV with a 73 kWh battery claiming up to 520 km, and 230 CV with a 97 kWh pack claiming up to 680 km.
  • Charging features include an 11 kW three-phase onboard charger, optional 22 kW bidirectional capability from 2026, and up to 160 kW DC fast charging that Citroën says can add about 160 km in 10 minutes.
  • The new generation grows to 4.65 m in length, 1.90 m in width and a 2.78 m wheelbase, increases boot capacity to about 650 liters, and adds comfort tech such as Advanced Comfort seats, progressive hydraulic bump stops, a 13-inch cascading touchscreen, an extended head-up display and Drive Assist 2.0.
  • The multi-energy lineup spans EV, plug-in hybrid and 48V mild-hybrid variants, with Spanish dealer availability in October and entry prices starting at €27,690 for mild hybrids and €37,490 for electrics.
  • In Argentina, Citroën launched C3 XTR, C3 Aircross XTR and Basalt Dark Edition trims with local prices (ARS 30.31m, 38.6m and 36.04m respectively) plus financing via PSA Finance, including 0% up to 18 months and a 3-year/100,000-km warranty.
