Citi Strata Elite Rolls Out 100,000-Point Bonus, Adds AAdvantage as Transfer Partner
The enhanced launch package positions Citi’s premium card to compete with top travel products through richer credits, broader transfers and stronger everyday earning.
Overview
- Citi is offering 100,000 bonus points after $6,000 in spend within three months on the Strata Elite, with no exclusion for current Strata Premier or Prestige cardholders.
- American Airlines AAdvantage is now a points transfer partner, and the card earns 1.5x on unbonused purchases, yielding more AAdvantage miles per dollar than many American-issued cards while not earning loyalty points toward status.
- Calendar-year perks can be used twice in the first cardholder year, including a $300 Citi Travel hotel benefit for 2+ night stays, a $200 Splurge credit and $100 in Blacklane credits in each half of the year.
- Lounge access includes Priority Pass Select with two guests per visit for the primary and authorized users plus four Admirals Club passes annually.
- The annual fee is $595, with a $145 rebate for Citigold customers and a first-year $595 rebate (then $145 in later years) for Citigold Private Client customers, and the card includes standard trip and rental car protections.
