Citi, American and Mastercard Debut $350 AAdvantage Globe Card With 90,000-Mile Bonus

The launch introduces a mid-tier option during Citi’s Project Falcon effort to centralize AAdvantage card issuing.

Overview

  • New cardholders can earn 90,000 AAdvantage miles after $5,000 in purchases within four months in a limited-time welcome offer.
  • Benefits include four 24-hour Admirals Club Globe passes per year, a $99 domestic companion certificate after renewal, up to $100 in inflight purchase credits, a free first checked bag and Group 5 boarding for the cardmember and up to eight companions.
  • The Flight Streak feature awards 5,000 Loyalty Points after every four qualifying American flights, capped at 15,000 per status year, alongside earning rates of 6x on AAdvantage Hotels, 3x on eligible American purchases, 2x at restaurants and on rides/transit, and 1x on other spending.
  • Additional perks feature up to $100 in annual Splurge credits at select merchants, up to $240 in annual Turo credits ($30 per trip, up to eight trips), a Global Entry or TSA PreCheck fee credit, travel protections and no foreign transaction fees.
  • Early reviews highlight strong first-year value driven by the intro bonus and calendar-year credits, while noting mixed ongoing value, and reporting unresolved details on how Barclays Aviator Silver accounts will transition as Citi moves to sole U.S. AAdvantage issuer status in 2026.
