CISCE Declares ISC Class 12 Improvement Results and Schedules DigiLocker Updates

The board will keep the higher mark from a student’s main or improvement paper and requires paid recheck requests that are refunded only if marks change.

Overview

  • The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations has published ISC Class 12 Improvement Examination results online and candidates can view scorecards on the CISCE results portals.
  • CISCE will treat the higher mark between a student’s original board paper and their improvement paper as the final score for each subject.
  • A rechecking window is open until July 20, 2026, and each subject recheck costs ₹1,000 with the fee refunded only if the marks are revised upward or downward after review.
  • Revised digital marksheets and updated result documents will be uploaded to DigiLocker from July 20, 2026, and schools must collect students’ original result documents and return them to CISCE to receive amended certificates where marks change.
  • The improvement exercise covered about 6,300 candidates across 33 subjects with 13,590 paper entries and was evaluated by 690 examiners at 113 centres, a scale that the board says underpins the follow-up rechecks and document reissuance now under way.
