CISCE 2025 Results Reveal Record Pass Rates and Persistent Gender Gap

Overview

  • The CISCE announced record national pass rates for the 2025 ICSE (99.09%) and ISC (99.02%) exams, with results declared in just 25 days after the exams concluded.
  • Girls continued to outperform boys, achieving higher pass percentages in both ICSE (99.37% vs. 98.84%) and ISC (99.45% vs. 98.64%).
  • Kerala topped the state rankings with a 99.94% pass rate in ICSE and a perfect 100% in ISC, followed by Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.
  • Scheduled Tribe candidates achieved a 100% pass rate in ISC, with other reserved categories also recording high success rates across both exams.
  • Re-evaluation applications open on May 4, allowing students to seek review of their results, while improvement exams are scheduled for July.
