• Danny Boyle has confirmed that Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy will reprise his original 2002 role in a new '28 Days Later' trilogy revival.
• The first installment, '28 Years Later', is scheduled to premiere in late June 2025 starring Jodie Comer, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Ralph Fiennes.
• Nia DaCosta is set to direct the second film, '28 Years Later: The Bone Temple', which will arrive in January 2026.
• Murphy is slated to play a significant role in the opening chapter, a smaller part in the second film and a larger role in the trilogy’s conclusion.
