- The Cook County Medical Examiner determined the death was a homicide caused by strangulation following an autopsy.
- Investigators obtained surveillance video showing two unidentified Hispanic males believed to have information about the case.
- Police said the two men are in their late 20s to early 30s and are known to use Chicago-area public transit frequently.
- Anyone with information is asked to call 708-652-2130 and request Detectives Gomez or Barona, as the victim’s identity remains undisclosed and no arrests have been announced.
