- The First Presidency announced the date on Oct. 20, confirming the formal start of the construction phase.
- Elder Jack N. Gerard, a General Authority Seventy and first counselor in the Europe Central Area presidency, will preside over the ceremony.
- Because the project occupies an existing building at Avenue des Arts 52, the dedication will be held indoors and there will be no traditional groundbreaking.
- Plans call for approximately 25,500 square feet of temple space with a meetinghouse and arrival facilities within the same building.
- The Brussels temple, announced by President Russell M. Nelson in April 2021, will serve nearly 7,000 Latter-day Saints in two stakes across 12 congregations in Belgium.
