Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' Casts Benny Safdie as Production Nears

Benny Safdie, known for his role in Nolan's 'Oppenheimer,' has joined the cast of 'The Odyssey,' alongside stars like Matt Damon, Zendaya, and Robert Pattinson.
The film will adapt Homer's ancient Greek epic, following Odysseus on his perilous 10-year journey home after the Trojan War.
Universal Pictures describes the project as a 'mythic action epic' and Nolan's most expensive film to date, with a $250 million budget.
Production is slated to begin in late February 2025, with filming locations including Sicily's Favignana and Eolian Islands.
Set for release on July 17, 2026, the movie will utilize new IMAX technology to bring the legendary tale to life on the big screen.
