Christopher Nolan's next project, 'The Odyssey,' will adapt Homer’s ancient Greek epic poem into a mythic action film with a $250 million budget, his most expensive to date.
The cast includes major Hollywood stars such as Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, Robert Pattinson, and Charlize Theron, though specific roles have not been disclosed.
The film will utilize new IMAX camera technology, including quieter operation, enhanced stability, and advanced connectivity, to elevate the visual and auditory experience.
Universal Pictures has announced that the film will be shot across global locations and is scheduled to release in theaters on July 17, 2026.
