Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas to Receive Royal Honors for Film Contributions

Following 'Oppenheimer's' Oscar success, filmmaker Christopher Nolan and his wife, producer Emma Thomas, are awarded knighthood and damehood by the British government.

Christopher Nolan and his wife, Emma Thomas, will receive knighthood and damehood, respectively, for their contributions to film.
The honors come after their film 'Oppenheimer' won seven Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director for Nolan.
This recognition also follows Nolan's previous award of Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2019.
Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos will be honored as a Commander of the Order of the British Empire for his services to the creative industries.
The knighthood and damehood were personally approved by Britain’s King Charles III.
