No homicide charge has been filed pending identification by the medical examiner.

  • Police charged Christopher Moss, 38, with concealment of a human corpse after officers found a man's head and torso in a garbage bin outside 569 East 21st Street on Oct. 17.
  • Moss also faces counts including assault on a police officer, attempted criminal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration, police said.
  • Officers moved to arrest Moss early Sunday near Beverly Road, where he allegedly headbutted an officer and tried to grab an officer’s gun and taser before being taken into custody.
