Christopher McQuarrie Changes Representation Team

The 'Mission: Impossible' director parts ways with long-time reps, now represented by Tom Cruise's attorney.

Christopher McQuarrie, director of the 'Mission: Impossible' series, has parted ways with his entire team of representatives, including his agents at CAA, manager Ken Kamins, and attorney David Fox.
He is now represented by attorney Matt Galsor, who also represents Tom Cruise, with whom McQuarrie has had a close collaborative relationship over the past decade.
The move follows the release of 'Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,' which, despite a respectable worldwide gross of $568.8 million, did not meet the high expectations set after the success of 'Top Gun: Maverick.'
McQuarrie is currently working on a sequel to 'Dead Reckoning' and a highly-anticipated film to be shot in space, co-starring Cruise and directed by Doug Liman.
It is unclear what prompted McQuarrie's decision to change his representation team, but it is noted that going the solo lawyer route in Hollywood is rare.
