Christopher Landon to Direct New Werewolf Movie 'Big Bad' After 'Scream VII' Exit

Christopher Landon, known for 'Happy Death Day' and 'Freaky', is set to direct a new werewolf movie titled 'Big Bad'.
Landon's move to 'Big Bad' comes after his departure from 'Scream VII' following the firing of star Melissa Barrera and the exit of co-star Jenna Ortega.
'Big Bad' is based on a short story by Chandler Baker, part of Amazon's anthology horror book 'Creature Feature'.
The movie, which is in advanced negotiations with Lionsgate, tells the story of a family trying to survive an attack from wolves outside of their home, as well as dangers coming from the family's own members.
Despite Landon's new project, he and the team behind 'Freaky' and 'Happy Death Day' have expressed their desire to continue that franchise.
