Overview
- Another round of storms on Christmas is bringing heavy rain and thunderstorms, with the National Weather Service issuing a Level 3 of 4 risk for much of Southern California.

- Authorities reported at least two weather-related deaths statewide, including a county officer killed in a crash on wet roads, as avalanche danger remained high near Lake Tahoe under a winter storm warning.
