- Walmart will close all 4,600-plus U.S. stores on Christmas Day, with doors reopening at 6 a.m. on Dec. 26.
- Target, Costco, Kroger, Home Depot, Lowe's, Macy's, Sam's Club, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are also closed on Dec. 25 after operating shortened hours on Christmas Eve.
- Select convenience stores and pharmacies plan limited Christmas Day service, including most 7-Eleven and Circle K sites, Sheetz, many CVS locations with reduced hours, and Walgreens stores with varying pharmacy times.
- Some restaurants and cafes are open with modified schedules, with select McDonald's, Starbucks, IHOP and Waffle House locations operating based on local decisions.
- USPS post offices and regular mail are paused on Christmas Day, and standard UPS and FedEx pickup and delivery services are suspended for the holiday.
