Overview
- McCaffrey scored twice in the 49ers’ victory over the Miami Dolphins to hit 100 career NFL touchdowns.
- His 100 scores break down to 64 rushing touchdowns and 36 receiving touchdowns, underscoring his dual-threat role.
- He became the third player to record at least 50 touchdowns with two different teams, joining Marshall Faulk and Randy Moss.
- McCaffrey was the No. 8 pick in the 2017 draft, spent five-plus seasons producing in Carolina, and has continued that scoring pace since being traded to San Francisco in 2022.
- The milestone shapes his legacy debate by confirming sustained high use and scoring while raising questions about long-term durability and how the 49ers will manage his workload going forward.
