Chris Dinan Appointed Executive Producer of ABC's 'World News Tonight'

Dinan succeeds Almin Karamehmedovic, bringing over three decades of network news experience to the role.

Chris Dinan has been promoted to executive producer of 'World News Tonight with David Muir', effective immediately.
Dinan has been with ABC News since 2011, previously serving as the senior broadcast producer for the show.
He takes over from Almin Karamehmedovic, who was promoted to ABC News president in August.
Dinan is recognized for his extensive experience covering major global stories, including the COVID-19 pandemic and conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East.
Senior producers Enjoli Francis, Jennifer Metz, and Brian Reiferson will assume additional responsibilities in the control room following Dinan's promotion.
