Chris Armas Appointed as Colorado Rapids' New Head Coach

Former Premier League assistant and MLS veteran aims to revive last-placed Western Conference team.

Chris Armas, former assistant coach in the Premier League and ex-MLS player, has been hired as the new permanent coach for the Colorado Rapids.
Armas replaces Robin Fraser, who was dismissed in September with the Rapids at the bottom of the Western Conference.
Armas has a rich history in MLS, both as a player and a coach, including a stint as head coach for the New York Red Bulls where he won the Supporters' Shield in 2018.
He also served as an assistant at Manchester United and Leeds United in the Premier League.
Armas is eager to implement his style of play at Colorado, aiming for high energy, attacking, and entertaining football.
