Overview
- CHP received reports around 12:15–12:20 a.m. of a silver Mitsubishi Galant traveling north in the southbound lanes near Cactus Avenue.
- The Mitsubishi narrowly avoided several vehicles before a head-on collision near Central Avenue with a silver Toyota Camry.
- Raulder Sotelo was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Riverside County Coroner.
- The wrong-way driver, a 20-year-old Moreno Valley resident, sustained major injuries and was hospitalized.
