Overview

• ACB Nalgonda Range officials arrested Tahsildar Guguloth Krishna after he accepted a Rs 2 lakh bribe through intermediary Gattu Ramesh in Chityal mandal.
• The accused were produced before the IInd Additional Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases in Nampally, Hyderabad, for further proceedings.
• According to an ACB release, the bribe related to completing mutation for Survey No. 172 and issuing a detailed survey report for Survey No. 167 in Gundrampali village.
• The properties involved are linked to Ratna Housing Land Estates Private Limited, and the investigation remains in progress.
• In a separate action, Mancherial police seized Rs 19.60 lakh in unaccounted cash from a Maharashtra resident at the Parupalli interstate check-post and handed it to the Static Surveillance Team.
