Overview

  • From 3 to 4 p.m. local time on Friday the 13th, in-store customers showing permanent, temporary or hand-drawn Chipotle-inspired tattoos received a free entrée of equal or lesser value with any purchase.
  • Flash sheets featuring 13 limited-edition temporary tattoos inspired by the chain’s ingredients, black fork icon and slogans were handed out at 13 select U.S. restaurants during the promotion hour, while supplies lasted.
  • The offer was restricted to regular in-store orders and excluded kids’ meals, online orders and delivery.
  • Chipotle capitalized on tattoo culture by playing off the 2019 “tatted like a Chipotle bag” meme sparked by Adam Levine’s Super Bowl halftime appearance.
  • Chipotle’s Adobo Ranch dip, made with adobo peppers, sour cream and spices, will be available at U.S. and Canadian locations starting June 17, with Rewards members able to get a free side if they enroll by June 16.
