- On Saturday, Dec. 20, guests wearing a festive or “extra” sweater can get a buy-one-get-one-free entrée in-restaurant after 4 p.m. local time at participating Chipotle locations, with qualifying attire determined by crew discretion.
- Eligible entrées include burritos, bowls, tacos, salads and quesadillas, the free item is the lower-priced entrée, kids’ meals are excluded, the offer can’t be combined with other deals, and there is a limit of five free items per check.
- Extra Sweater Day is the final event in Chipotle’s December Unwrap Extras series, following earlier Saturday BOGOs for tacos and burritos and ongoing surprise drops for Rewards members.
- Chipotle’s separate Bowl Eligible program for students at 84 FBS universities closed to new sign-ups on Dec. 18, and eligible Chipotle U Rewards members received access to a BOGO offer on Dec. 19 with redemption through the app or website within seven days.
- Other brands are leaning into Ugly Sweater Day on Friday, Dec. 19, with reported offers including a Dunkin’ $5 promo card for the first 50 sweater-wearing customers, a Dairy Queen free mini Blizzard via the app, a Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut reported by a food blogger, and a Scooter’s Coffee sticker giveaway.
